I helped a friend do his 350z in Flat White around Christmas and in the end he ended up spending closer to $1200 in vinyl. Its more expensive than most think.

well im skeptical. cuz if that was the case i doubt high end cars, bmw, lambos, porsches etc would do it. plus it will give me another skill to learn.

Its 3m, i dont know where he got it...The car is in florida with him now, so i cant get any pics anytime soon. Ur probably better off single staging the car white, rather than vinyl wrapping it. It would be close to the same price probably lol.

Wondering if any one knows how much vinyl you'll need to do a full body wrap on a stock exterior FD? I plan to do the matte black vinyl.

That's what I was told by the dealer when I was at Lamborghini Las Vegas. I have to agree, it's pretty ridiculous.

Personally I think flat paint looks best on cars with sharp lines. I saw the carbon edition Z06 a few months ago that has a flat white (icy white is what it was called I believe), it looked pretty good.

I did my FD in the BMW "Frozen Grey Metallic" It's a satin/matte grey with a purple hue to it. I only have shitty cell phone pics, but I love the way it turned out.

The pictures don't really do it justice, but you get the idea.

I saw an incredibly nice semi-gloss/matte pearl white Lexus IS tonight (Starfire Pearl) that looked absolutely incredible. I really like that "Frozen Gray Metallic" as well, hope you post some more pictures somewhere X haha.

Out of curiosity, if your standard good quality paint job is in the 3-4k range, how much extra would it be to stip the engine bay and have that painted as well? I am guessing that adds a few thousand extra to the mix?

I'm having my fd painted the same color. It's a nice pearl but has it's moments where it looks semi flat.
