If you are going to do flat white, add a pearl to it. Plan flat white looks like **** IMO, makes the car still look like it needs to be painted. Here is an example of a pearl flat white:
Either way the fd is a very hard car to pull off in white.

eh well see... im using 3m's flat white... 3m is one of the best vinyl brands out... i cant add a pearl since its not paint. this is going to be my temporary solution until i really get the car painted which has been put off for so many years..
wheels are work cr kais and will be gloss white.

No pearl on that Lambo, that is Satin Silver.

It's been done, In my opinion it would only look good on our car if you added a lot of vents like a hood and a body kit. You need some dark areas to balance out all that satin white. That is why it looks good on the Lambo. Also, the sharp angles of make it look better too. The FD is too smooth, IMO looks better on a FC.

It's only a 30k option on the Lambo, chump change.

I think white FD's look great, but I think you'd want to stay with a glossy or pearl, or something with reflectivity, otherwise, it won't really show the curves. Even the "flat" or satin blacks have some reflection and shadow to them... flat white will look like a lump of chalk.

this is our FD at ISS Forged where i work
when we did the flat white wrap on the FD we all loved it...but it was all downhill from there
you cannot and i do stress CANNOT keep it clean...the time of the wrapping will be the only time that the car will be perfectly white
as soon as you drive it, its done, and it does not wash off...also if you get any dirty hands on the wrap, that wont come off either...didnt take us more than 4 days to peel off the $2100 worth wrap at the shop and get the car sanded down and re-cleared to MB
please dont waste your money and time on this matte white wrap
the only way to pull it off is to do it the way its done on the lambo, painted satin pearl white

Thanks for chiming in, do you happen to have any more photos of what it looked like? I've been hunting them a while but couldn't find any others on the ISS Flickr acct. Also, you have a lot of pictures other cars done with the same wrap, did they have the same issues? How about the other color Satin wraps, does the black end up looking dirty too?

You are going to regret doing it and an FD is not an easy car to do it on. Half of the car has to be done in one piece, which is very difficult, especially for someone that doesnt have some sort of experience. I looked at your thread, and the headlight covers didnt come out too good. Plus, in the end its going to cost a good chunk of money that you could have put toward a paint job. I would think about it more before you try to tackle it.

the people who wrapped our FD for us are the ones who wrap all the high end cars, Benz, Bimmers, Range Rovers, Lambos, etc...
and the wrapper told us that they hated the way the car turned out but there wasnt much they could do about it because the car was "too damn curvy" there were some piece on the front that had to be cut and spliced and what not and it ended up looking like a puzzle
this is a terrible idea to do in white...of the other darker color wraps might look better but the only way to do this so it really looks good is to paint it

^^ listen much?
why don't you just sand it down and primer it white? From curacaosfinest own experience it seems that even a crappy primer job would end up looking better than a wrap (after a week's worth of driving).
