Fitment/Setup check plz on Infinity Kappa's
Hi all,
one thing i've learned is that it doesn't hurt to double check with everyone before going with it...
Deck-- Alpine CDA-9847
Front Speakers-- Infinity Kappa 63.7i
Sensitivity: 95 dB
RMS Power Range : 2-75 Watts
Peak Power Handling: 225 Watts
Frequency response: 45-25000 Hz

3-way 6-1/2" speakers (pair)
2-ohm impedance
Plus One woven-glass-fiber woofer cone with rubber surround
EMIT tweeter and M.M.D. midrange
Computer-optimized outboard crossovers with tweeter level control
Top-mount depth: 2"
Rear Speakers-- Infinity Kappa 682.7cf
Sensitivity: 94 dB
RMS Power Range : 2-100 Watts
Peak Power Handling: 300 Watts
Frequency response: 40-25000 Hz
Diameter: 6x8 Inch
2-way 6"x8" speakers (pair)
2-ohm impedance
Plus One woven-glass-fiber woofer cone with hi-roll rubber surround
Rotating UniPivot M.M.D. dome tweeter
Computer-optimized outboard crossover with tweeter level control
Top-mount depth: 2-1/4"
Amp-- Alpine MRV-F345
RMS Power Range : 150-300 Watts
Number Of Channels: 4
Low Frequency response: 20 Hz
High Frequency Response: 20000 Hz
Built In Crossovers: Yes
Channel Separation: Yes
75 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (85 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms)
300 watts RMS x 1 (channels 3/4) + 75 watts RMS x 1 (channels 1/2) in bridged mode
i have a 93 R1. will this setup work? i know the deck, rear speakers will work. not too sure with the front speakers. although i've read 6.5" will work up front as long as its shallow enough? and do i have the right amp? i'm a newbie when it comes to stereo.... my goal is to have decent sound and bass, and hopefully staying away with putting in a sub.
Forgot to mention: i have a relocated battery. why this is a concern for me is that it is a much smaller battery than stock... its a miata battery relocated to the rear bin. i know this will affect power.
thanks,
chris
