also witepsycho, not to sound like an ***, but, to the untrained eye, they may *appear* to be the same, but if you had an ounce of taste, or anything near a perfectionists personality, you will see that the R. Extreme kit does not sit as flush as the RE-Amemiya headlight kit. look very closely at the top pic, and the at the bottem pic. Do you see how flush the covers are?
The rotary extreme lights also sit a tad bit higher than the RE-Amemiya kit (Isami Amemiya is his name, i remember seeing someone posting that they must be RE Amemiya themselves. just an FYI ). From other people's review, Amemiya's kit has somewhat of a cutoff, where the beam is partially blocked by the front bumper, whilst the R. Extreme kit sits higher, but has a better beam pattern. Pick your poison, but me personally, i'd take the Amemiya kit anyday of the 8-day work week, including the month of Feb-tober.
With a note on the subject, check out the prices of the Run Racing Kit, R-Magic kit, and the above-mentioned kit, the Amemiya kit. The authentic kits are no where near your $600.00 quote. You may get a little less than 1/2 with your $600.00, and a few nuts and bolts.
