FC Speaker questions
Hello,
I have a question on which speakers to use in my FC
I have a 4 channel infinity amp, and I was wondering
if i should power my 5in in the door or the 4in in the front.
either way i will have the other 2 outputs powering the 6.5in in the shock tower
should i just run either the 4in or 5 in to a deck amped output?
any input would be great
Jonathan

The way I would do it is to power the bigger rear and door speakers with the amp, and just conncect the smaller dash speakers to the deck. Unless those speakers need a lot of power for some reason.

This is what I think you should do.
Ok,
Here is a little advice from an installer. The rear speakers even though they are probably larger than your other speakers are to be used as what they call "rear fill". The front speakers should be getting 80% of the power and the rears only 20%. You may think this sounds stupid but look it up that is what the MECP guide states as well as many professional installers.
I think you should hook up the doors and the dash speakers to your infinity amp (if it still works correctly) and leave the rear shock tower speakers powered via your head unit.
You could also just power the doors and rears from the amp if you want and leave the dash speakers head unit amplified. I believe the dash speaker on the pass. side is amplified OEM. Hope you work things out. Peace
