Hey everyone, ive got a pretty sweet system in my 1985 Mazda Rx-7 GSL already but i wanna add an amp for my speakers, im running 4" pioneer front speakers and pioneer 6x9's... I have already 2 clarion 12" subs and i have a 400 watt amp and a capacitor to prevent to much power from being drained from the battery. So heres my question... I want to get a 300 watt 4 channel amp for my speakers but i am wondering if this will put too much strain on the alternator and will i need to buy another capacitor if i do this? Thanks for your replys

I just upgraded my headunit and have a JBL GTS360 4 channel I can sell you. I had probably more power then you had in your 85. I also only had one cap and never dimmed the lights at all.
