Dying/Resurfacing a headliner (tan to black)

I am looking to finish my buddys interior swap. I gave him my entire black interior save the headliner & its associated bits due to the fact that his is touring, and mine was a base.

That said, I want to get his headliner & visors dyed or resurfaced black.

Any idea how much this would cost?

Thanks!

Steve

They have leather dye at any auto parts store, from what I read on here is that it starts to crack and look terrible after a year or two. I would say your best bet would be to bring it to an upholstery shop and get it done right.

do like antisuv did, and use 3m adhesive, start in the center, and either use that headliner stuff, or suede. i have used that fake microsuede stuff and it turned out real well
