Door Box Lid and Door Panel Plastic

Ok, this is ancient news to everyone but me I guess - Ray tells me these things are gone, probably never to return. Can't someone make a replica?

you're talking about the Map pocket right? If your's is broken, just glue it shut. That's what I did and I actually like it that way.

RHD japan still sells OEM ones, if you have a RHD car.

Don't see it on their site. All they have is the door handle parts.

just checked evo-r.net and didn't see anything interior except the leather cf shift boot (gag) and the rotary shaped cup holders (where the hell would you mount them?) ... so, no door pieces.

some threads in the audio/interior section that show people fixing the pieces with diy plastics. looks messy tho.

No, they do have them on RHDjapan.net I'm about to buy one, they're the newer ones with the textured surface, I'm replacing my entire interior with them, but I cannot find the AC/radio bezel piece textured ANYWHERE.

I can get injection molded parts tooled in China. Single parts that are the size of the drivers door pocket lid would cost $7-9k and you could make all the copies you want for $2-3/ea cost plus shipping.

quick google search yielded these results

http://www.moldeddevices.com/

http://www.plasticcomponents.com/index.cfm(I laughed at the home page, Terry Bradshaw LMFAO)

http://www.acmolders.com/injection-m...-parts-acm.htm

if you cant find them, have a batch made and sell them to the forum.

Last I checked which was over a year ago now, Ray @ Malloy had some, but he said he replaced his, and it broke less than a year later... with no use, except for leaning on it while driving on the highway..... after hearing that I was no longer interested

Finding an injection molder is easy. Finding one that will do this for a reasonable price with a projected qty of a 100-1000 is the problem. They are out there but cold calling them is expensive.
