Costum car design projects

XAYNE is a new millenium design studio driven by a small group of people truly devoted to exceptionally aesthetical design in various spheres. At the moment we are preparing XAYNE website, which will opened on the 1st of februrary, 2004 at www.xayne.com.

As in the first stages of development XAYNE projects will be solely car design, we are looking for business partners in car tuning sphere for manufacturing quality unitary (hand made) / serial (factory made) car body kits/spoilers from different materials (carbon, fiberglass, aluminum, glass), also companies/groups of people who are able and have required knowledge, experience and practice in car tuning.

We would really appreciate if any of you forum readers, could tell us contacts (web address, email, fax)

Of tuning companies if your are, or maybe links to any big tuner databases, please note, that

We are not looking for companies like Wings West, Rieger, i.e. which produce factory made spoilers,

We want companies who can make hand made project and unitary tuning cars.

For any further information you can contact us at info@xayne.com.

Best regards,

Aurimas

if you are looking for more bmw tuning companies then go to www.dtmpower.net , they sponsor a few companies and the forum mentions almost all of them.

good luck Tom. (Based on personal experience) you are going to need to focus on new model cars with a wide customer base if you expect your drawings to be purchased. You will also need to hire an attorney if you don't want to get taken advantage of.

Aurimas,

I really like the BMW's front, and that unit in particular probably has a market. However, most of what is in the pictures would need to be manufactured out of urethanes, other plastics, or composites, which most tuner companies do not use because of cost.

Of course, it's possible that it could all be made of fiberglass, but someone would have to spend a lot of time designing an invisible reinforcement system for all those fine lines and ribs (in turn might creating high manufacturing costs, which is what the fiberglass is trying to avoid). The vents: I don't see how they could work without either an extensive wide body kit or frame modifications. And the wheels, have they not been done before (one of the lugs is morphed, btw)?

You guys need to get some hard copies made before you start contacting tuning companies. The 'photoshoped' pictures are surely not enough, and make sure you're not infringing copyright.
