I've seen pics of hoods with giant gaps with their name attached to them, I'll probably be going with Seibon myself. Spend more initially instead of even more later when you have to replace the hood that didn't fit and had a gap so big up front that air got under it and rattled it until the latch snapped off and the hoof flew back and smashed the windshield and roof edge, that kinda stuff does happen.

Hoods are hit or miss...I've seen friends import hoods from Japan and still have bad fitment. Personally, I got a GTP hood back in the day and it had perfect fitment and seen the same hood on other peoples cars and the hood was way off on fitment....Hope that helps...GL on your search

Exactly what CwestFD3s said, its really a hit and miss. I'd stay with the stock hood for now, there pretty cheap and readily available

It truly is hit or miss. I did have that chaser hood on my fd at one point and it fit horrible, I returned it and got my money back. I then bought my seibon ts hood that i have now and I think the fitment is just ok. I might be replacing that soon.

Aftermarket hoods are generally like that, which is a shame because I love quite a few aftermarket hoods

They are local to me I've seen their FC hood on a car and it looked ok, and lined up fine from what I saw. It needed to be painted and sat out in the sun un painted too long so whatever finisher they put on their FG was starting to peel. But thats the owners fault for not getting the hood painted.
