Anybody ever thought to try calling some of the companies that do the stick-on dash kits to see if they would do a overlay on dash pieces? I know one that does.

just like my dash too

Is that a HUD I see in the photo? Can you give some details on the functions and how effective it is? Very nice vehicle all together too.

It's the Defi HUD boost/turbo timer guage. I REALLY LOVE IT!

It has a warning green and red light that you can set at your preference for a boost warning. So let say you can set the green for 10 psi and the red for 12, you can then see these light up out of the corner of your eye when you hit these levels....It also has a tach around the digital readout (it doesn't read in psi thought, it read vacuum in mmHg and boost in bar exactly like the PFC) that you can quickly glance to get an idea of your boost. It also has a peak hold function and something else too...just can't remember.

Finally it has a turbo timer (which I don't use). However you can have it set for any amount of time or set it for automatic where it will automatically calculate the time to run the engine depending on how much boost and length of time you ran.

There is still a description of the guage on Defi's website. Unfortunately, they no longer produce this guage.

I'm not a big fan of guages all around the compartment, that's why I wanted the HUD. Also, I have the PFC hidden in the ashtray.

Why overlay pieces with carbon fiber? Isnt the point of using carbon fiber in the first place to reduce weight and add strength? Seems pointless to me unless you really like to the look of carbon fiber.
