Car Audio Nirvana
Well I think I have completed my quest for an audiophile grade car audio system. I have decided to go with:
JVC SH707 CD Player
(2) Tube Driver 750
CDT HD Braxial's with the special Silk Dome tweeters
Image Dynamics IDQ12D2 V.2 12" sub
Orion XTR 2150
I already had the Orion amp and figured that should be plenty good enough for a bass amp. The rest of the stuff I had to purchase. I just wanted to get some comments on my choices. I really want a very musical and balanced system. Once I have completed the install I'll post some pics and let you know how it all came out.

Well I wanted something with MP3 capabilities, plus it has 24bit/96khz burr brown D/A converters.
In my experience burr brown makes excellent d/a converters that is noticably better sounding than a lot of the generic ones used in other components. A lot of the higher end home cd player and seperate D/A converters use this brand with great success. It has a very low jitter rate and sound extremely musical. In my opinion the d/a converter will usually make or break the cd player.

Not a problem. I'll have my motor work done in about a month or so and then I'll get started on the stereo. I'll try to set up one of our local meetings after everything is setup.

JVC is not a personal favorite for me but if you like-cool.
I do agree that Burr-Brown is awesome. (Did you know they are owned by Texas Instruments now?) Oh well good luck sounds good.
