Smile Can I put my tail lights in the oven?

I'm converting my old style lights to the '99 spec tail lights. I have to seperate the back of the lights from the outer cover which is normally done by using a heat gun to loosen the adhesive. However, I don't own a heat gun or even a hair dryer (military won't let me have Fabio's hair). So can I heat it up in my oven. If so, what would you guys think the approximate baking temperature should be and for how long ?

a heat gun is like $10. buy it use it twice and toss it if you are worring about "getting caught" with it.
