Burnout Front bumper and feed fenders anyone?
#5
i have a question.
since both burnout fenders and feed style fenders and made by shine...
i see a close resemblance to the burnout fender and the feed fenders arches. <<Duh (easy part)
ok...so are the arches over the wheels the same shape on both fenders?
meaning the only difference between the fenders would be the vent portion of the fender where the feed fender is tucked and the Burnout has the stock vent?
can anyone confirm this?
my problem is i cant find two easily compariable pictures of the two

yea zman ur right from the front there the same shape and same width its just the rear vent portion thats differnt.
But ive been told that the burnout rear flares do have more room than the feed flares like mine in the rear less than 5mm difference though. but as far as the fronts there the same width the burnout fenders might have a little bit of a higher arc though. but almost the same.
and thanks for the compliment montego i got custom matte black te37s on there now with Nt01 tires so it looks a little meaner lol and the feed flares in the rear of course

also about the width of the fenders/shape.
shine says that the FEED fenders are always 25mm were as the BURNOUT is 20-25mm...
makes me view the feed's as wider even tho they might be the same width because FEED is always 25mm but thats not to say u cant trim the burnouts to 25mm.

I prefer the straight-edges over the wheels that comes with the Burnout fenders. I think it adds a very nice modern touch to the FD, similar to a C6 Corvette's fenders.
Does anyone have pics of an FD with '99 front-bumper and maybe even the spoiler, but with the Burnout front and rear flares? That's what I'm doing on mine. I have APEX-i side-skirts ATM, which are okay for the time being. I dunno what side-skirts I'm gonna go with later..

since you dont have the rears, do the rims look weird? if i do fenders im not sure if im going to do my rears... and right now im 17x9 +17 all around... so if i do front fenders im going to have to get spacers in the front... so im concerned how that will look if my fronts have a lower offset then my rears??..........
+1 i really like the appearence of the car from the front angle.. the straight edge of the burnout is actually kinda like \ / if you look closely, and it creates an illusion the the car is wider than it really is... gives the car a reallly nice stance..
i do have pics of a 99 with burnouts (what made me fall in love with the kit..) its another forum members car but no clue who.. lemme dig it up from my archive..

Anyone have any pictures of burnout fenders with different bumpers? Considering pairing these with a different bumper. Can't decide on which trying to stay away from fiber glass since car is pretty low. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
