A few days ago I remember seeing someone with (I believe a black FD) that had a brushed aluminum outside door handle.

Is this a standard aftermarket item I can order somewhere, or do I start looking for someone to do a custom one?

looking at the picture, it looks like it is the stock plastic door handle with some aluminum-look cover on it. you can get a sheet of that aluminum stuff at most any of your local rice-shops.
