Bose Sound System Wiring Schemetic?

Bose Sound System Wiring Schemetic?
I have a '93 RX with the upgraded Bose Acoustic Wave Sub Woofer set up. The sound is great and I want to keep it.
My CD player has quit altogether. It spits out the disc without recognising it. I was able to find someone locally that is repairing it but he's having trouble identifying some components in the circuit. He has replaced a number of Capacitors, and I don't know what else, but I guess the issue is he can't read the identifying codes on some of these small Resistors, Transistors, etc. He has asked me to try and get a Circuit Diagram or Schematic for the CD player.
A year or two ago the Center Channel Amp was acting up and I found a place in Florida that was able to repair it, but they no longer repair the CD Players.
If anyone has any information or can steer me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.
Thank you,
RH

I had the same problem with the CD player. It is a clarion unit if I recall correctly. I ended up replacing the whole unit (radio and CD) with a bose (even included 6 CD changer) head unit from a 2002 Millenia. The new unit cost me $45 on Ebay!

I would replace the whole system or buy a newer Bose component from a newer car. Age is not good to these stereos.
I have "rebuilt" my Bose amps before in my Maxima by changing out all of the capacitors. The caps are weak point in the amps, so this usually fixes them. However, fixing CD players is a different game and I've never done it. I like the idea of buying a spare from a newer vehicle.

Hey, thanks for your input, fellow Rotor Heads. Even the garbage can. I appreciate the humour. I'll hit the local Wreckers to see if I can find something that might fit.
My car has the nice leather interior, and I like the original sound as well as the original look, so I'm not ready to give up and toss the whole works.
A recent Heart transplant (the car, not me) means I don't listen to it very often anyway, as the new custom built engine and RB exhaust is sweet music to my ears.
I suppose I should add a thread under the appropriate heading and give details of the engine build and installation, and subsequent tuning. One day soon....
