Bose repair

My factory BOSE CD player has skipped forever and I was wondering if it could be repaired instead of being replaced by an aftermarket head unit. Thanks.

Yep, I can't remember the thread, but there is a thread about where you can send it. If I remember correctly, the actual unit is made by Panasonic (or some other manufacturer) and they will replace the unit for a small fee.

EDIT: Here ya go:

BTW, it's basically almost the price of a new headunit. Spend just a few more bucks and you can get a decent new head unit and the BOSE adapter.
