I'm getting my s4 t2 painted some sort of black in a month or two. I've thought about black metallic, and black with a green flake. I was just doing some researching and heard of a horror story about having to much flake so I think thats out. If I was to have a flake I would want it extremely low key where it hardly looks green in the sun, but just barely enough to be original. I have been told my painter is one of the best in the area so maybe he can handle my request, so haven't decided yet.

Any other black related suggestions? Would be great if you provide pics. I find it extremely annoying and hard to find certain colours over google. I tried to search black metallic pearl which is a tight colour, but took me atleast 20-30 mins to find on a vehicle with a good angle.

 

just have him spray cards. Hiding metallic/pearls in black is very tough. Doable, but you need to play around....

 

Yea that sounds like a pretty good idea. I wouldn't want to dish out $3k to go to waste, and find I don't like the colour.
