Autopower Roll Bar Shipping Question.

Autopower Roll Bar Shipping Question.
I went to order up an Autopower 4pt Roll-Bar for my FD as it's part of my plan expansion and upgrade for the vehicle. $414 bucks when all was said and done which isn't bad in my book. However, I understood that this item is oversized and that it would be shipping by truck/freight.
Then I get an e-mail from the sales rep saying that it would be between $180 and $220 extra for shipping.
That's half the cost of the product itself. Then it goes as far to tell me that the product may incur dings and chips in the paint during transit. While I can stomach the transitional defects as that's the nature of bulk products, the price is blowing my mind.
This just doesn't sound natural to me. For anyone that ordered a roll-bar, how much did you all pay for shipping? It sounds like I'm getting rocked.

mine cost 120.15 to ship from California to Massachusetts. look up shipping prices online. it should be a little cheaper then that, maybe. but 180 to 220 sounds like the reasonable maximum shipping charge. you could maybe ship a box of cookies across country for $20 nowadays. its ridiculous.
