Im tired of paying places like Car Toys to break my car when they install audio/alarm equipment.

Its a '93 FD, only thing stereo wise thats new so far is an Eclipse head.

Im going to be replacing my center/door speakers, and adding in the base model rear panel speakers here in a few weeks, plus deleting the Bose sound wave stuff in the back and replacing it with a single 10" or something similar.

I want to do this all myself, but dont really know much about stereo installs. Basic stuff like this doesnt look too difficult, so I figure with a decent guide I can do it myself.

Is there such a guide on the web? Or would one of you guys be kind enough to walk me through it?

P.S. Im sure this has been discussed many times, and I appologize for posting a new thread, when I have more free time Ill be using the Search liberally. Thanks!

try the12volt.com for all the electronic stuff. As for removing and installing, just start removing stuff. It's really not hard, just be careful.

check out caraudio.com and elitecaraudio.com, more knowledge than you could ever need. I do warn you, once you start reading that, you will become addicted like me and end up spending 3,000 on car audio. BTW, those rear speakers are useless, and useusaly rear fill does everything but help the front stage. If it were me, I would get a nice set of components, run them active, and get a good processor.
