Anyone here have a JUN Type-1 front end on their FD? Or pics?

The 14th issue of "RX7 Magazine" from Japan had a feature on the Odula RX7 which features that same front end we "think" is the Jun front end. I've scanned in the pic. Their web site is www.odula.com and it may have more info. Not enough time to check for myself, too busy! Try using the Alta Vista translator too.

Ding ding ding! Michel wins the prize. That's exactly what it is. The picture you just posted is the exact same car as the red one in the picture of the group of 3 cars. Good find.

True, most tuning shops don't do their own body kits or even all their own engine parts. They just incorporate others. I see lots of them using the Amemiya AD GT 2000 kit pieces. Axia seems to have hit the big time though. They just knocked off a 58 second run at Tsubaka(sp?) which puts them up there with RE, Panspeed and FEED. Their car is pretty unique in it's intercooler/radiator arrangement and duct work.

Wow, I didnt hear about that yet. I have been
a little busy. I got a race in Tsukuba in Sept.
They didnt beat RE though did they? I never
got to see Panspeeds time, the latest time trials
they burnt up their car.... This is all in the issue
14 right?

I think it's in 14...they actually ran something about the car in 13 and 14, with the 14th edition featuring the "Watch out RE" section. No, RE's still running in the 57's I believe, so they're a few ticks behind. I'll have to scan in their IC/radiator setup and overall pics of the car and post them here.

Did you guys ever figure out if that was the Jun front end? I'm at Odula's web page now, translated through Alta Vista, and I don't see Jun listed anywhere...it almost looks as if that's their front end. J-people, any ideas?

Ok, read the rest of the "page 2" posts. The three cars in a row do not have the PanSpeed front end. I have the catalog as well and that's NOT a PanSpeed front end, especially not the 2000 series. Now I'm thinking it's IS an Odula front end. Jeez. I need to quit my day job and start doing this stuff!

You are correct. That is an Odula bumper. Not a bad bumper for $454 (from their website). Here's another picture.....
Btw, I'll go to Japan with you Michel, when we leaving?

This is what I'm interested in though, the hood! 53,000 yen ($415.33) It looks like the Mazdaspeed with a little twist. Only thing I don't like is it looks like the bolts go through the hood and then has little covers over the bolts. Can you find out anything about this Jason?

HAHA I didnt look at the hood thats a copy too. Well the only bummer about this company is its in OSAKA and it looks small so first you have to pay to get it from there..
Also about JUN, on their web page I only see one bumper for the FD and its not any of these... On the first page I put a link to it... Thats the only one I have ever seen... ODULA has nothing to do with JUN, unless they copy their stuff, they arent even in the same part of Japan.

Jason, please check with Odula on that bumper. For $450, I'm definately in. See if you can verify that it's fiberglass or urethane. Also, does it come with the little slats on the side, or are they extra? Thanks.

the bumper is $580 and spats are $180
so a grand total of $740 with no lights.
I think I might just include the shipping
I dont know yet..
