Anyone here with Eclipse CD players?
Lookin' into getting a CD player receiver finally. Currently, my audio deck doesn't work..haha. So I figure it's time for some music since I never had a working audio deck ever since I've had my FD. Anyhow, does anyone have info or pictures of the Eclipse CD player setup? Please share your thoughts.
Also, this is the one I'm interested in...fits the FD dash style and color too:

I have the 7301 model. It is the double din and was a bitch to put it. The FD isn't really set up for for aftermarket stereo. The openings are wider than the standard DIN unit. There isn't really anything inside the FD dash that you can mount the stereo to.
Long story short, I just paid to have mine installed.

I had an older Eclipse as well, 5V outputs, no internal amp, it was a killer stereo that produced great sound. I recently upgraded to the 8445 which is their top tier CD receiver. In short, it has more features than most people will ever want or need and sounds great. I also purchased the Sirius plug in module. I had been using an FM modulator box with the 3504. It does have a built in amplifier although I'm only using it to power the fronts. I use a 4 channel bridged JL to power the rear speakers and a single 8" sub. The ergonomics of the unit are very good and it's operation is intuitive. It's a little slow when you ask it to switch to MP3/CD from radio or go into say the sound parameters. Graphics flash across the screen before functions can be selected. Also, when you put a CD in, the face does not close right away unless you push the open/close button. But since it's Sirius ready, reads MP3's and has a memory stick interface, this is the perfect unit for those wanting lots of music in a single DIN unit. Memory sticks come in 2Gb sizes now, that's quite a bit of music.
The unit also has a 7 band eq and about a dozen other functions I don't fully understand yet. The unit runs fairly cool and I've had no issues with heat here in SW Florida where it's steamy hot.
My old unit lasted five years without a glitch. It was working when I pulled it but the CD eject was getting a little slow. Very well made units.
