Anyone Dynamat entire Car?
I have a FC Vert and was thinking about Dynamating the entire car. I know, you're thinking, on a vert? It will still quiet the road noise down quite a bit, and I'm getting ready to put subs in the spare tire compartment so I'm at least going to Dynamat that. Anyone done this? How long does it take? How much did it cost?

I just swapped complete interiors from lame blue to sweet black.
i'll tell you now that it was an extreme pain, worth it, but a pain.
Dynamat has some sound deadening qualities but its weght also helps keep panels from rattling.
i persomally don't think it would be worth all the time, headache and work to pull everything out and lay down dynamat all over. the material itself will be pricey and unless you have absolutely no problems and 100% free time expect yer car to be torn apart for a good day or more.
Dynamat is annoying to work with and can get damn heavy in that large of a quantity. I found some websites about a year ago for full soundproofing of a car and prices started out at about $1K
anyways,
good luck, have fun

Dynamat'g the car or just a portion of the car will make a huge difference until you get used to the difference, which will take about a week or two. Then you'll never notice it until you ride in a friend's car.
I would suggest that you strip the interior and have a friend drive the car around while you crawl around and pick the problem areas. Use a mechanic's stethoscope(sp?), you will not need to damp every inch of the car. I do suggest that you dynamat everything around the subs, it will clean up the bass like nothing you have ever heard before.

Dynamat works, but isn't worth it's price. Take a look at Brown Bread at
http://www.b-quiet.com/brownbread.html
Also look into RAAMmat at
http://www.raamaudio.com/products.htm
Both products offer the same results, at a more reasonable cost.
Another item that works for killing chatters from plastic panels is to use carpet padding or eggcrate foam behind them. I know it sounds strange, but it works, AND it's cheap.
