anybody who knows where the stock amp is installed?
I've installed aftermarket audio deck on my 94 FD today. But the rear subwoofer doesn't work, only front speakers work.
The mechanic told me the rear subwoofer doesn't work because I'm using the aftermarket head unit. I need an amplifier to run the rear subwoofer.
is there anybody who knows where the stock amplifier is installed on a stock FD?
He told me there is no amp on my car after he had looked for in the hatch. The previous owner must have taken it before I bought the car, he said. But I think the amp is not installed in the hatch first, it must be in some other place.
If the previous owner took it, I have to buy a new amp.
I hope not. Somebody help me up!

First off, is it a Bose system in your car? If so, the amp for the bose woofer is beneath the woofer itself. You've got to take out the bose wave system and it'll be attached underneath the left side. See if the wire is plugged in, perhaps that's the reason why there's no sound. Hope that's what u're looking for.

Yes. it's the Bose subwoofer. There is a wire coming out from left side beneath the wave system. But it's not pugged in. Then you mean I can plug the wire in the aftermarket audio deck? Then the subwoofer will work fine?
