Ok, i've poked around on most of the seat threads, but some of the info is old, or the products are no longer made.

What reclining buckets, drop directly into and FD with available rails? I've poked around a lot on Bride's website, and i can't get a straight answer if the reclining seats fit into and FD or not. I'm 6'3 and 230 lbs -- so racing buckets are not going to fly, i need a big ole' fat guy recliner.

Does anyone have pics of red seats in a Montego Blue car? Does it look like the christmas wagon?

 

the lowest reclining seat I know of would be the Bride Gias LoMax with Bride rails. I'm not sure if it would be low enough for you with a helmet though. The do list their demensions. So if you can figure out how much lower then stock it is then maybe you can figure out if it's enough.
