![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Just picked up a 1993 RX-7, beautiful car, runs bettter than awesome...but the interior needs some work.
Mainly the center console, it looks worn out. Anyone ever have to change it? Anyone know of where I can search to find a replacement??
thanks in advance...

i spent the better part of today doing my dd and pretty much think i'm going to try painting it on my own....worse comes to worse i don't like it and start all over...
part 2 to my trials...just found out that there is a little console like cubby on the door and the cover for it is busted, i don't even have the piece to see how badly broken it was...any ideas on where to find replacements???
thanks again

Mahjik,
Thanks for the great tips!!! I’ll give Ray a call today, thanks. Also, while doing my dd I found this dash-kits place. Looks awesome, but have you ever tried or know of anyone that has tried to install these kits?? May be a good alternative to painting…imo
Let me know what you think,
thanks

Personally, I wouldn't do those kits. I would have a body shop paint the panels before I did one of those kits.
Just try the paint first. Use the shifter console piece as a test since it's easy to remove and re-install. See how it comes out and if you like it, you can redo all your interior panels.

is it because you've heard or had bad experience with the kits?
i'm going to try the painting, cause either way i would have to remove the the parts, sand, and prep...
