8" sub in rear bins?

I was curious if anyone has installed an 8" subwoofer in thier rear speaker spots on their fc's. I was also curious if you did this how did it sound and did you just keep the stock 4" in the front or mount some 6 and a halfs or something somewhere? Any info would be great... thanks

I have one 8" Kicker with a Kenwood amp bridged mono to it. Sounds good. I upgraded the stock speaker for great mids and tweets. The storage bin was the best place to mount the sub. I made a custom sealed box with a carpeted top.

I've got some .5 cubic foot boxes that fit the bin boxes. They were a little small for 10" subs, but should be about right for an 8". If you're interested, I'll swap the tops out and sell them cheap. PM me if you're interested.

No, it sound good. Bass travels everywhere. i do feel a little more kick in the driver seat than the passanger seat.
