3th brake light question
Hy,
I'm in europe and Fd's where only sold here (Belgium) in 1994 (19 cars).
It may sound stupid, but back in the days a3rd brake light was fobidden.
After a while it became obligatory, go figger...
Anyway, I checked the rear centre pice of my light unit the other day and found 3 sockets to put some kind of bulbs/holders into for the brake light (It's there, it just hassen't the connections etc)
Does anyone know if there's aMAzda part number for this 3th brake light harness.
Is there a possibility to fab something myself?
Many thanks

If it the car didn't need a therd brake light legaly in your country that year, you don't need to worry about it. IF you wan't to have it anyway you could buy that parts needed from the dealer. USA cars have had to have brake lights since mid 80's, so their should be parts for it.

If you already have the sockets for the bulbs and they're wired up, you probably just need the bulbs. They should be standard automotive bulbs, easily available at a parts store.

Sockets are there, wiring harness and bulbs are not
3td brake light was forbidden but since a few years it's obligatory on new cars and not a problem for older to have it installed
