3rd Gen Antenna No Reception
I have a 93 R1.
There's a male adapter that I'm guessing is from the antenna. It fits into the Kenwood headunit female antenna adapter, but there is still no reception. Right now I just stuck a screw with a attached wire into the headunit connector to get reception, but it's not that great.
Is the male connector factory? It has a green and red wire. How can I modify the connector to get reception?

There should be two antenna wires, one from the fender mounted antenna and one from the antennain the rear hatch glass above the rear defogger. I remember that they are black and one is larger than the other . A shelded wire , not any green and red I think you have the incorrect wire .
