have you got your pictures on a site like photobucket of flickr? after you've got that, you copy past the img code into the signature box. i'm sure if you posted the picture up here, someone could help you out

The picture itself is easy, you can just resize it in Paint. (150 x 600 max)

I drew this up as a 'step-by-step' just in case anyone else needed help.

like shmoo said, you can use photobucket or something, but the forums have their own image hosting service too (steps 3 and 4).

MS paint or other programs to resize images.

You had [url] tags and [img] tags in your sig. I think I fixed it, but I don't think it'll appear until you post again.

The format for a picture should be [img] type URL [/ img]

Your signature does not have any IMG tags or the URL of the picture you're trying to display. If you uploaded a picture to your album, you'll need to copy the [IMG].....url.....[/ IMG] text into the signature text box.

I don't have the tags because they're not allowed in my signature (according to the little panel at the bottom of the signature edit page). I didn't upload the picture to my album, I uploaded it on the signature edit page. I've attached a screen shot of what I see when I try to edit my signature.

I'd like to think I'm pretty savvy with this stuff...seems to me something else is not working properly.

Edit: I just tried adding in the tags with the url and it just creates a link.

If you're doing it that way, there should be a button that says "insert signature picture". I don't see it in your screenshot, so just enter this in the text field above (without the space):

[SIGPIC][/ SIGPIC]

EDIT: I added it for you. Next time you post or hit "preview signature" it should show up.

hoping to get a little assistance here as well. I was trying to update my signature and it doesn't appear as though I have the proper permissions.
"Allow Image BB Code No"

this is the image I was trying to use
