Wich haltech to get

So i have started on an NA engine build, and i wondered wich ecu to get, would like to get a haltech sprint RE, but i'm not shure that it is good enough..

The engine i'm building:

13b S4 T2 block.
Semi PP and streetport.
S5 NA rotors.
ITB's with sequential throttle setup, 4port's open to around 20-30% before the pp tb's will start opening, and both will reach 100% at the same time.
4 injectors.
LS2 Truck coils.
Rotary works true dual header 2,25".
Custom 3" exhaust.

So wich haltech ecu do you guys recomend?

Found a guy who want's to trade his E6K for a Rtek 2.1

Could i use a E6K?
I have looked around a little bit, and it looks like it does not have a lot of features, but would it be good enough?, looks like the e6x would be a much better choice if i'm going to get a "old" ecu.

I would shoot for one of the newer ECU's. The Sprint RE is a good choice if you don't need a lot of aux inputs/outputs.

Well i don't think the engine i'm building is going to need lots of inputs outputs, only things i want to connect is egt, wideband and E fan, other than that there isn't much i'm going to need.

The only "advanced" stuff on the car will be the sequential throttle setup, and that will be mechanical not electric or vacum controlled.

Agreed. Skip the older boxes. Especially the E6X. The K is a good little box, but they are getting old. Haltech has stopped supporting all of the legacy boxes. Guy posted on here a while back that they are no longer servicing them if they have issues. Have not confirmed that myself, but I wouldn't doubt it. The new Platinum (Sprint, Sport, and Pro) stuff is better in all aspects of functionality and will be supported for years to come.

As mentioned, the Sprint RE is a great little box, if you just want to run the engine and not much else in the way of auxiliary functions. It has 2 dedicated outputs for tachometer and cooling fan relay and 2 user-programmable outputs that can be used for things like open loop boost control, aux fuel pump, methanol injection, etc. The Sprint RE has 2 dedicated inputs for roadspeed and wideband input. There are no user-programmable inputs for alternate sensors.

Drop me a PM if you'd like a more in depth description of the differences between the Sprint and Sport ECUs.
