Sprint RE with 4 secondaries...
Hello Guys,
I'm contemplating getting a Sprint RE for my car which is currently running on a LT-10s. I do have a question about whether it will work for me or not. My setup (E85) is 6 injectors: 2X2000cc high imp primaries and 2x620cc high imp + 2x1680 low imp secondaries being fired off the same channel as 2 large secondaries. I know I will have to switch the low imp secondaries for high imp ones but wonder if there are any issues with the Sprint controlling two high imp injectors on each secondary channel.
Any input is appreciated.
Best regards,
Chris

No. You will connect them in parallel which doubles the load. If you have two 12 ohm injectors per channel, you have a total of a 6 ohm load. Adding a resistor would make for a sluggish mess imo.

Essentially, yes. You are limited to 8 object per channel. More current than that and the ECU shuts down the driver to protect it. The Sport ECU will do as mentioned above. Two low ohm or four high ohm injectors per channel.
There will be a nice little sale going on in August. Will help cut the difference between the current price of the Sprint and the price of the Sport. You get a lot more content with the Sport as well.
