After installing the speed sensor a 4 port solenoid went on the car. And after modifying the waste gate to flow what is was intended to flow my lowest boost possible is 6 psi. Currently using the pressure from the turbo outlet to control boost but going to add a air tank with a regulator and run 50spi to the solenoid.
Current setting
control start is 2 psi
time is zero
the P I D is, still in the works. But boost is pretty flat.
start duty is around 50%, using the table
After we install the air tank we're going to change the start psi to 1 psi before desired boost.
IF you have a speed sensor installed, highly recommend boost by gear. It also does boost by rpm. Something over looked!!!!!
ECU boost control is so much better then aftermarket stuff. And it's already paid for.

Did some testing last night with out a intercooler. VERY promising results. E85 is bad azz stuff. We started testing at a lower power level last night, around 600hp but things looked really COOL.

You just have to have the patience to find the right PID settings. Once you have that, you have a huge amount of control over how the boost is applied. Looking forward to your 2014 results!

We had all the boost setting corrected when running the intercooler. Worked great. Had good boost response and boost was nice a flat.
Now have to start all over with out the intercooler. Last nights testing without the intercooler, we had over boost by 4 to 5 psi. But things looked promising.
Boost by RPM is were it's at!

E85 and water/meth injection and NO intercooler works great. Boost response is noticeably faster. Dyno and butt dyno at the track. Air temps were in the low 130s.

Getting closer to figuring out the water meth no intercooler thing.
Did change the way boost controller works. Open loop. Working speed sensor.
Screw the P I D settings Solid boost in each gear. But these settings did eliminate my boost spike at the beginning of each gear which I will make adjustments to get back. so much power is left on the table.

Care to share more info on the control loop + speed sensor settings? I went back to open loop boost control, since closed loop was kicking my butt with those initial spikes.

Ill use your car as a example.
I would go with a liter waste gate spring to give me more leeway from spring pressure to desired boost. Eliminating boost spike can be done with the current spring but easier with a liter spring.
With a working speed sensor you can do boost by gear. Now your trying to do a average duty cycle for all gears. First gear is so much faster then 4th gear that a earlier start time is needed to eliminate boost spike.
Open loop
State to control is zero
time is 5 seconds
Target boost is 13psi
In the boost control setting from the drop down tab.
first gear -10
second -8
3rd -3
4th -3
That way first gear starts to open at 3 psi and 4th gear starts to open at 10 psi.
Then in the duty table you can input a duty for each gear, (kinda) So first gear will start to control boost at 3 psi. That will take say 15% duty. and 4th gear will start to control boost at 10 psi and that duty can be say 25%.
Then if boost spikes you can lower the numbers in the boost by gear tab. Or change the duty cycle to reach desired boost.

So it starts to control boost at these numbers and holds my duty cycle for 5 seconds and gives me a pretty flat boost curve with out spike. If boost spike did happen in first gear my first gear number would drop from -15 to -18. Or I can to from -15 to -13 to have to boost come on faster.
Is what is happening is we are combining open loop with closed loop. Giving us a faster boost response for 3rd and 4th gear with eliminating boost spike in 1st and 2nd gear. Working for me and may not work for others but may be worth a shot. My waste gate spring is under 10psi and desired boost is between 30 and 40 psi. One thing did notice is with out boost spike car did feel a bit slower in the lower gears.

Not to change to the subject, but now that you are using speed input, do you plan on using the haltech 2 step function?

I know the sensor can be had cheaper out there, but I buy everything from cludwig, his support is invaluable
I must be referring to the rally anti-lag instead of the 2 step, sorry about the confussion.
