Haltech No signal from hall effect sensor.

No signal from hall effect sensor.
I've double checked the wiring and all appropriate wires on the sensor are correct.
E6X
The trigger setup page is like this.
Trigger type: Standard
Trigger input Pull-up: On
Trigger Input: Hall Effect
Tigger Edge: Rising
Home Input: Internal Reluctor
Home Edge: Falling
Are these settings correct?
I've made changes with the Trigger Edges and still havn't seen any RPM indication. I guess I'm assuming that regardless of the ignition setup, I will still get Trigger input. If not I've also got the stock trailing coils setup for sequintial spark.

Check your wiring, make sure you have everything wired correctly... if this checks out... you will probably want to use an Oscilloscope to see if you are getting a square wave signal out of the sensor... this is a sure fire way, to check for trigger signal output.
Both HOME and TRIGGER should be set to Hall Effect, and if its a single channel HE, then you will be using the Rising/falling edge, if it is dual channel, you will have to set an opposed magnet on the wheel, to get a HOME signal.

I sent you an email with the setup sheets for the sensor.
The trigger settings are not negotiable. You have it correct for an S3 sensor except for the home trigger needs to be Hall effect.
You have a standard trigger with two magnets? One facing North and the other South? Are you certain the magnets are oriented correctly? An airgap of .040" is good. I've went much closer without issue. Make sure you have adequate clearance for any runout. You do not need a scope to check to see if the sensor is outputting a signal. A VOM will work just fine. The procedure for checking to see if the sensor is changing states is outlined in the document I sent you.

Just to review...
"If you need to identify the magnet poles this can be done easily with the use of a
multimeter. By powering up the sensor, using 12 volts (PIN B) and ground (PIN A)
the secondary trigger channel (PIN D) can be checked to identify a south pole.
Connecting the multimeter between PIN D and ground, 12 volts should be present.
When a South pole is placed in front of the sensor this value will go to 0 volts."
Which pin is the sedondary trigger channel? According to the wiring diagram Pin D is empty. Is it the home signal that should be checked with the multimeter?

Both can be checked with the VOM. I believe the instruction sheet is incorrect in it's pinout. Refer to the single page document. The color reference IS correct on that page. Check for voltage between ground and and the yellow and green wires. You should have 12V+ when the sensor is not on a magnet. The voltage will drop to 0 on the trigger channel only (yellow wire) when the sensor passes a North magnet face and will drop to 0 on both channels when the sensor passes a South face.
I order some magnets the other day. Should have them tomorrow or Wednesday.

I replied to your thread on the Haltech forum. Sounds like you're checking it incorrectly. You look for voltage between ground and yellow and ground and green, not voltage between green and yellow.

Oh crap...I'm thinking of the newer ECUs. The red wire of the shielded trigger loom of the E6K/X is a ground. You'll need to run a battery voltage feed to the red wire of the sensor to power it. You can take this of the injector feed if you want.

I've got battery voltage on both pins now. Blame it on my lack of knowledge of simple circuitry.
I still don't see a change in voltage when the sensor passes over the magnets on the pulley. On either of the two pins. I figure even if I screwed of the magnets one way or the other, I would still see a voltage drop on one of the pins.
