Haltech need some timing help on a e6k

need some timing help on a e6k

ok so here is the thing i got a street car im working on i figured maybe someone here had an issue with this,,,when i lock the timing on the e6k and i align it the timming will move as i accelerate not a crazy movement but as i go up in rpm's it will advance the timing i tried changing the settings and nothing having a big headache on this,also i got 3 msd 6al's hooked up maybe that contributes,,help will b much apreciated,,,thnx in advance

Make sure the CAS is wired correctly. Sounds like you have one or both of the reluctors wired backwards.

red to white
green to green
white to red
white/black to black

That looks correct. Make sure the trigger edge is set to falling and the ignition edge, with the MSD boxes, should be rising. Other than that I'm stumped.

ok so nothing i changed the settings n still the timming moves forward as i rev, i even changed wires to the cas the red n white got switched cause of another diagram that i found on here http://www.k2rd.com/haltech/drawings/rx7drawings.html n nothing,,,,has anyone been frustrated like me

hey wuz up criss,,,the car is at my diesel shop n also i dont have ur # so as soon as u give it to me ill call u ,,,,i spoke to a guy earlier with the same prob he said that he sent his back to haltech n that they fixed it, they never told him what was wrong but they got it fixed ,,, well hopefully i get a good hint on this from u...

Yep that was me. I had the same problem, Timing jumps around at idle will not dial in. As soon as you give it throttle timing advances.

I sent it off to Haltech in Austraila and the problem is now gone.
