Give Tony at T and R Racing a call. Tony has a Haltech equipped FD and backs up his tuning skills with low 10s in the quarter. (10.1)

I agree, T&R has tuned the fastest rotaries in NY utilizing Haltech, they're the best when it comes to tuning rotaries in NY using Haltech.

Tony from T&R does tune his haltech with good results, but for my $$ i would definately go with enzo, very knowledgeable guy with lots of experience.

enzo, and Joe from www.smokinjoeracing.net are the only ppl i let tune my single turbo FD.

Roan,

Those mentioned above are the only ppl that you let tune your single turbo FD???????????????? Common Roan.

Don't forget when NO ONE could fix or figure out your "tuning" issue, it was Romeo and Wayne from T AND R that came to your HOUSE and fixed it for FREE. You were ready to sell the car and/or rip the Haltech out of it.

And just last week when you had questions with larger injectors, you called Romeo from T and R for advice. These are just a few examples..

I guess I'm just a little bothered since I see what you write on here and I know what takes place outside of the forum. Very 2 faced.

No response necessary at this point...

so, we're back to this again Anthony? listen, i dont care what you wanna say about my choice of shop or tuners, but i cant allow you to sit there and call ME 2 faced.... I'm probably the realest, most honest person you've ever met. i always speak my mind, and the truth. dont try to make this thread look like I'm bashing T&R in any way, im simply stating what MY prefrence is, which im entitled to. if you read the first line in my post you'll see where I (truthfully) say that Tony DOES do his own tuning WITH good results. you see unlike you, im able to give credit where credit is due. im not caught up in the high school type pettyness that you seem to let control your life.

as for you talking about Romeo and wayne comming to my house and fixing my car, thats no big secret, as I said I'M A BIG ENOUGH PERSON TO GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE. in case you missed it, look here to see what I had to say about Romeo, Wayne, and T&R the day they fixed my car https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hlight=haltech

for those of you too lazy to click that heres a copy of my post from August of 2002:

"ok, after over a month of me trying to get my FD running properly, (This was my first haltech install) I decided to give up and enlist the help of some good friends who know what they're doing. WAYNESPEED and Romeo (yes, that Romeo) came to my house the other day to try to diagnose some timing issues I was having with my haltech.

While I thought i had tried everything, and was convinced that I had a bad ecu or a blown motor, Wayne and Romeo calmly checked all of my wireing before succesfully setting my timing. Wayne was also nice enough to give the car a quick tune so that i can finally start driving the car arround and breaking in the new motor.

To anyone who is thinking about having WAYNESPEED tune thier car, and to anyone who isn't, PM him and make a tuning appointment NOW, you wont be sorry.

Much Thanx to wayne and Romeo for thier help! it's nice to know that we still have genuinely good people in the Rx-7 Game.

See you guys at the track soon!

Anthony, it was never a secret that i got help from T&R to get my car running, in fact i wanted the world to know, thats why i posted here. as for me calling Romeo last week to ask him about injector O rings, yes i did call him.... whats the big deal? i think it speaks for my maturity, as well as Romeo's, that I can call a competing shop and ask a question without hesitation; and even better that Romeo will give me honest answers and help if he can.

you see Anthony, life is too short to make enimies and hold grudges against ppl. i have never harbored bad feelings towards anybody in the local rotary community. i believe that were all on the same side here as long as we have a love for rotaries. i like the fact that i can walk into most any rotary shop in the NE and know somebody there. i like going to e town or atco and talking to other rotary shop owners in the pits. this is the way things should be...... cant you understand that???

you have had some kinda personal thing against Joe for years now. if you cant understand that its petty and immature to carry that **** arround for this many years, than thats fine but dont expect everyone else to act as you do.

I support Joe and his shop because he's a friend and i believe in his work. i call or go to T&R to hang out because i consider them friends as well.

the fraze "dont mix business and friendship" was made for ppl like you. you're the only person I know who simply cant understand that just because 2 ppl own competing businesses, it dosent mean they can't be friends. furthermore it dosent mean that thier customers cant be friends with the other shops customers. I dont have a J&R stamp on my forehead and and i have never seen a T&R stamp on anybody's forehead over there either. stop acting like business is the important thing in this life, ITS NOT!!! before there was a T&R, and before there was a SMOKIN JOE RACING we were ALL friends. we all came from the same place, and as far as i'm concerned we're all still working towards the same goal,
so in the spirit of the new year,
why dont you make a resoloution to DROP ALL THAT BAGGAGE YOU'VE BEEN CARRYING ARROUND THESE LAST 8 YEARS AND STOP TAKING EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET SO ******* PERSONAL.......

sorry for the off topic stuff.

thanx for your time
Roan

come to think of it Anthony, ive never seen you say anything nice about any shop other than T&R. that says a lot for your credibility. are you saying those things because you really believe it, or do you feel obligated to because you're affiliated with them. when i give ppl on this board advice, i tell them what i think is truly best for them. I'm not a smokin joe 'chearleader' like you appear to be for T&R, i say good things about any shop ive dealt with and i feel deserves it. I have never bashed T&R on the internet or in private conversation, but you feel the need to make snide remarks about Joe and his shop at almost every opportunity you get. grow up man. if its really that deep, pick up the phone, call joe and both of you go talk out your diffrences over a coupple of beers. but dont keep letting YOUR personal feelings affect advice you give on a PUBLIC forum.

Hey guys. No need to turn this into a pissing contest. You are making it look bad for your respective tuners.
I know some and know of about most of these guys mentioned on this thread. Of the guys mentioned, they all have the ability and experience in tuning.
1) Enzo250 - I feel we will be seeing big things from him soon.
2) Toni - He has a 10 second RX - Respect to Toni
3) Romeo - Fastest No Nitrous Street RX7 (Tuned by Waynespeed - Nuff respect to Wayne!!!!)
4) RETed - He knows his stuff. You will see his regular posts a few forums. I'm sure he would not mind traveling to New York for the right price.

i gotta rex,
I PMed you. Give me a call. We could go over your setup. Information from any of us is free!!!!
Regards,
Maurice

Roan,

What it has to do is with this statment
"enzo, and Joe from smokinjoeracing are the only ppl i let tune my single turbo FD"

That's absolute bullshit and you proved it by that old thread thanking T and R. Thank you.

This has nothing to do with me or Joe, you fail to realize that I know Joe a LONG time before you and we are still friends. Name one time I said anything negative about his shop? The first time I came to the shop Joe thanked me for positive comments on the forum, did you know that?

Credibility to other shops - I try to be supportive, look at my previous posts from Reactive to when TurboStreetfighter was selling his car. There are many others. One thing I will tell you is that I have never posted anything negative about any shop, from PFS, to KD, to J&R even when people were bashing these shops and even guys that talk bad about T and R. Even though I know all the details I stay out of it.

When a recent friend (no names) kinda made history recently , I posted, jose posted, wayne posted, ernie posted, rikki posted, bpr posted, vosko posted all congratulating him. Where was you support? You didnt even mention anything on the no pistons forum. so where's your support?

T and R Cheerleader? Do you see me going around and slapping SmokingJOE stickers on people's car that DONT want it? LOL Common Roan, I can picture you in that tight hot pink cheerleader skirt when you were doing that!

Speaking about bad talking shops, do you remember at the hooters meet, you were shoving business cards down people throats, and even bad talking KD when the guy told you he goes to KD. Remember that cheerleader?

Roan, this has nothing to do with the shops, it has to do with me and you and I'm calling you on it. Look at how many times you get into arguments with people on the forum, so much that you were banned. Look at how many times you get into arguments in person and lose freinds over it. You've been back on 7 freakin posts and already causing trouble.

You talk to much **** and don't back it up with anything, that's why you lost $2000 to a stock Honda. It's your mouth that caused that, it had nothing to do with who tunes your car or anything else, it's your mouth and it's 100% you.

Your mouth and attitude will continue to get you in trouble until you lose the few friends you have left. You talk so much **** that you end up in grudge matches with your own friends.

Judging from the arguments I have seen with other forum members, I know you live for this type of **** and I see everytime we meet.

Honestly, I have stooped to your level here. I am embarrased to be posting like this. This will be my last post on this even if you respond. I expect the usual long winded response with links as proof! That's how much I know you.

1) This forum has an excellent Private Message function. All you need to do is simply click the mouse on the "PM" button located at the bottom of a forum member's post. This is where you should discuss personal issues, not on the forum where everybody in the world (literally) can see it.

2) We also have regional forums so that you can discuss regional issues, such as tuners, vendors, events, etc., in your area. I recommend taking advantage of this function, also.
