Help me connect the final wires on my fc
I have an 88 TurboII and IN the final steps of in talling the E6x. THe engine harness is all done.
I am in the cab now.
MY computer crashed on me. SO all the schematics & diagrams with it.=/
On the FC chassi which fuel pump wire is the 12v power? Im assuming its the red one but i need confirmation.
Also. MY car is completely gutted. ALl dash and a/c gone. I have tons of unused connectors hanging around. One of these would be a perfect source for my switched 12v for the e6x. I just need some to tell me wich one i could use instead of splicing.

With the fuel pump, are you wanting to use the factory plug? If so, why? It's tiny 18 gauge (I believe, possibly 16 gauge) wire. Run a new 10 gauge wire from the Grey/Orange wire on your harness directly to the positive side of your pump. Then run the negative terminal on the pump to a good ground (My battery is in my trunk so I grounded it on the battery). The plug I talked about up top will supply the 12v IGN for the fuel pump relay. I used one of those gold plated stereo battery terminals with the two 1/0 gauge inlets and two 10 gauge inlets for my battery terminals so I can connect the most important things directly to the battery.

There's a green plug right in front of the leading coil that has 3 wires running into it but it's not clipped into anything. That's the clip I use for a 12v IGN. I have my relays and fuse box right behind the drivers side headlight so it worked out perfect.

Body harness side of fuel pump plug:
White/Green = fuel level
White/red = fuel warning light
Blue = 12v power from resistor relay behind passenger headlight
Black = ground
On the pump side, black/white should be power and black should remain ground.
Best 12v switched ecu power: black/white. When you pull the egi comp fuse under the hood, it will kill that circuit. A lot like factory.
When I installed my e6k, I used all factory power points from the two plugs where the emissions harness connects to the dash harness. Black/White for ecu, injectors, and 12v solenoid/accessories. A small amp fuse is a good idea close to the ecu. I'm thinking 5 I left the factory coils to use the Black/Yellow power wires at at each coil. I also did not run a new fuel pump relay trigger wire, just a new power wire. For the relay trigger, I used the brown wire(brown/black?) from the orange connector you see here on the right:
