Exclamation haltech AFR unit problem ps1000

hey, im using a haltech ps1000 and a haltech wideband AFR unit

the afr units wiring instructions tells me to give the signal wire to a spare AVI in my ps1000 loom

i tried that and it just wouldnt work so i then connected it to the 02 input dedicated channel and it worked

anyway i then flooded my engine really bad running on one rotor for ages eventually it cleaned up and started running properly again. i have now removed the 02 sensor. cleaned the sensor up a bit. done a fresh air calibration with it out of the exhaust. reinstalled and its still not working

i have
power
earth
signal = i measured the voltage at the signal wire and got 1.4v - this tells me i should be getting a afr reading around lambda or a bit richer but the haltech gauge just sits on 10afr never moving

is there something im missing? some sort of main setting for the o2 sensor that could be causing this?

thanks
