hall effect sensor and injectors E11V2

Hey guys. I'm trying to start my car and unfortunately been unsuccessful. I have two questions. One. For the the wiring lead loom, which wires did you hook up to the stock hall effect sensors on the FD. The wiring diagram shows different colors that what is in the wiring lead loom and the K2rd website. I'm my wiring harness we have gray wire with shielding. Colors are red, blue, green & yellow. Gray is Trigger and Gray/Black is Home. I just want to make sure that I hook up the right wires. Also Injectors. I have stock 550cc injectors in the primary and bosch 1650cc in the secondaries. 550cc have 13.7 Ohms of resistance while the 1650cc have about 4 Ohms resistance. I have all injectors hooked up 1-6 current setup. Should I set up the 1650cc on the 7-8 current setup since they are different resistance?

Thanks once again.

Aren't the FD crank sensors VR(variable reluctor) types and not hall effect types?

The sensors are variable reluctor and not hall effect. You will need to know this when you enter the settings for the trigger.

I don't think Haltech has updated the diagrams they're shipping with the E11 to show that they changed the trigger loom colors. You will have two looms as you noted, both with red, green, yellow, and blue wires. The one with the gray shield is trigger and the one with the gray/black is home...as you noted.

To hook it up you will attach the yellow and blue wires of the trigger loom to the sensor that picks up the 12 tooth wheel. The green and blue wires of the home loom will attach to the sensor that picks up the single tooth.

The green and red wires that lead to the two sensors from the stock harness are ground and should both be attached to the blue wires of the trigger looms from the Haltech.

Injectors and Timing

I got the car started with the settings below and some manipultion of fuel.

BTDC -5
Trailing Split 15
BTDC 36.0

Tooth Offset 11

The car seems to getting flooded while the injectors are enabled and the fuel pump running. As I disconnect the fuel pump I can get the car started. It seems to be
getting way to much fuel. I disconnected the 1650cc injectors and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I believe the 550cc primaries seem to be fully open. Raw fuel
comes out of the tail pipe while the fuel pump is enabled. I was messing with the map settings but it doesn't seem to make to much of a difference. What settings should I have on the fuel injection set up.
Having 550/1650cc injectors, what should I have the current set up be?
I checked the Ohms. 13.7 ohms for the 550 and 4.2 ohms for the 1650cc. Anybody have any ideas?

Is there a way to adjust the fuel trim? the cells on the map where the car starts are around 3-4. I've switched them to 1 to try and cut the fuel. Let me know if you come up with something.

Thanks

Aldo

Wiring Dagram.

By the way. Thanks for correct wiring for the wiring lead loom. I'll check tomorrow to see what I did as far as wiring. I can't remember.

Thank you guys for the information.

These settings arent correct for FD - REW engines. The correct settings should be trigger angle 65 degrees, tooth offset 5, the lock degrees at -5 is correct and the split at 15 is also correct. You are supposed to use T1 to lineup the timing, since there is no marks for 5 degrees ATDC (-5 BTDC) like on the FC's.

The only reasons you might have problems is because you may have your crank sensors wired backwards, either on the main trigger (12 tooth) or the home (single tooth).

Also, make sure that you have the coils wired correctly, because if you have T1 and T2 backwards either at the plug cables, or the ignition output leads, T1 will be pointing 180 degrees out.

Trigger/Home sensors

I check again to make sure that I had the crank sensors hooked up right. Unfortunately it is exactly the way you told me.

Recap.

Gray wire (Trigger) Yellow (positive), Blue (Negative), stock sensor (white) Yellow (POS), Orange (NEG) Chris said it was Green but I don't have a green.

Gray/Black wire( Home) Green (positive), Blue(Negative), stock sensor (gray) White (POS), Red (NEG).

I'm going to check the ignition wiring right know.
Ignition 1 [Y/B]LEADING , into the igniter (Light Green)
Igntion 2 [Y/R] Not used
Ignition 3 [Y/O] Trailing 1 into the igniter (Brown)
Ignition 4 [Y/G] Trailing 2 into the igniter (Brown/Black)

The setup that you told me is probably correct and I might just be having a injector issue. As the computer intializes the pump, and I disconnect it. I have enough fuel to run for a few seconds. Once I engage the fuel pump again the engine completely dies. You can smell the raw fuel coming out of the exhaust. Please let me know the settings for the fuel setup for 550cc injectors (stock) and 1650cc injectors (bosch top feed). Maybe that is one of my problems.

We are getting closer.
