E6k injector selection guide

Hi

Guy's i need some opinion in selecting injectors for the 13bRE engine with e6k ecu.
I was using pri 550 and sec 1680cc injector on my previous setup which the injector already max out on 21.5psi boost 489whp on dyno.

I was wondering if the haltech e6k will able to control 1680cc injector on primary ?

or the setup need to use 550cc injector for primary and 4pcs 1680cc secondary ?

Any idea that you can guys could help ?

Thanks

Teong

i think 550 with 4x1600's would be easier to tune, but i think the e6 would run 4x1680's

Thanks for the reply

I manage to get the car idle with 4 X 1600cc . it need to lower down zero throttle map to smoothen the idle.

But now i do have problem in ready my AFR using Innovate LC1. The sensor is place at approx 4 ft away from the turbo housing on the downpipe 4" size.
The idle AFR is at 20.0 which is too lean.

Do you guys have any idea why the reading is leaner then usual ?

FYI my setup is a below

13B-RE engine Bridgeport.
equal lenght exhaust manifold
1600cc X 4pcs injector
twin 44mm tial wastegate
Borg warner S400 turbo 80mm 1.32ar with 4" down pipe to exhaust.
spearco water to air intercooler with internal water tank on AN16 hoses feed
Haltech E6k with stock coil and igniter wire up with 3 X MSD 6A
Twin External walbro 255lph fuel pump with fuel cell feeding single AN8 hose and AN6 return.
Sard fuel regulator
OS giken Twin plate
HKS 5 speed Dog box transmission

Thanks

Man I have a s4 tii bridgeport with 4x1000cc injectors and mine idles at 10. If only I could get mine to lean out some. What kind of settings did you change, just the zero throttle map?

Well i cant read any AFR in the innovate XD-16 Gauge and i think this is because of the 4" exhaust which lost back pressure that makes the sensor read incorrectly. I just lower the bar in the e6k fuel mapping from 500rpm to 1500rpm , then it's idle fine. I also use the Innovate TC4 two egt sensor on the turbo manifold and it reads average around 300~320deg celcius.

exactly, on the larger downpipes you will not get an accurate reading at idle.

guys ...

what do you suggest to get the AFR read correctly ? do i need to change the exhaust to smaller size instead of 4" ?
I check with my friend he is an exprienced motec tuner and he told me that just get the engine idle stable and it will be alright.

4'' DP on my Cosmo and LC-1. Readings fine at idle. Less than 2 feet after turbo.

I think 4 ft is too far from turbo.

hmmm that close and still reads off? this has happened in some of the turbo hondas i've tuned. i usually tune the idle by ear in these situations because everything else, even low speed part throttle still shows up on the wideband.

if all you have is this problem at idle, just go by ear. rev it up and make sure it comes back to idle without issue.. also after a run as well.
