Continuing Trigger issues, (no rpm, trigger, home) E6X

so i have been trying to figure out this problem for atleast the last month, i can not pick up a trigger or home count to save the life of me. when i first wired it up, i did it normally just running the for wires to the cas. it wouldnt pick anything up, so i tried another cas, nothing, re-gapped the cas, still nothing. okay, then called haltech and talked with them for w while, still came up with nothing. sent the ecu in, nothing wrong with it. they suggested running external reluctors, okay, ordered two msd 8509 boxes, wired them up, tried it again today after changing the trigger set up page to accept the new boxes, and still nothing. it gives me some wierd stuff. i go to trigger diagnostics and it gives me a last home count of 10 and trigger count of 240? these never change as i data log while cranking. i also recieve no rpm. wiring has been checked and checked and checked, but will probably recheck it. im thinking about hooking up the original cas harness and using the cas wires that come up to the stock ecu and wiring those into the msd boxes. but could this really be the difference? just need more ideas to help me get this thing running, please help! thank you so much

ok so i did more playing around with it today. i re-wired the msd boxes and used the factory cas wires, all to no avail. i made sure the msd boxes were getting power, the only thing im skeptical about now is the diagram i saw which grounded out the boxes to the haltechs ground (pin 26). im still getting the same results, home count 10 (null) and trigger count 240 (null) these never change! i changed the cas again, and still the get a flat line for both reading 10 and 240. i go to trigger diagnostics and i get 10 240 and 0. what is going on? anybody please help

My guess is you have something wired incorrectly. Without specifics to go on it's impossible to diagnose, however.

what specifics would help you help me? will a incorrect trigger set up cause no reading? i checked the wiring before i did the msd install and i had continuity from the trigger + wire at the plug for the cas all the way to pin 6, same for the home + wire to pin 13, both grounds went to 26and had continuity all the way through the harness. when i wired up the msd boxs, both + wires went to purple, -'s went to green, yellows went to respective pin's (13 and 6), grounds for the boxs went to 26, power for the boxes came from the wire that went to 1A on the stock ecu (12v constant). i even went back and tried the stock red white green and blus cas wires to no avail.
