Brian! need your guidance
Hey Brian and others..I have a e6k when I try to down load Brians MAP that he emailed me it starts and then in a few seconds of promising progress it begines to flash RECONNECT HALTEC......
1 I have a very base map on my halteck which I got started with once but was pig rich...so I started playing around with it ...lol big mistake for a novice right!!!
2 any way nnot sure about decent values for fuel map or ignition map etc....
3 what should I not touch etc.....
4 i tried to reduce prime map..and then increase I saw some ttempts at start but no cigar..( hey Brian I do love cigars by the way..LOL)
5 what should my IGN/BY be set at ..is it 1 or is it 2...I was sure i saw it at 1 right now
6 i did timing lock but i have to turn the CAS all the way forward just to see mark is this ok or am i doing somrhing wrong?
I am at the final stages of having this car running ...i have a few days of dyno time in a week or sooo FREE....and really want to get on there and learn some more......so any help guy..PLEASE

thanks claudio I figuered that from my searching........I did find some stuff today..and a video on how to use HALTECK better...mostly the keys and short cuts...
but i still am not sure of parameters and values to put in...is it more fuel for bigger PRIM INJ or less? should my IGN map be left alone....
I also think that I have it set at 70 and had a hard time lining up mark with halteck locked...if i change to say 65 it should line up right?
then I was trying to start with timing lock ...i realized to day that was a no no..so before my stupid laptop crashed on me today I was goign to try some things........but finally got it running ok again at 9:30 pm. tonnnnight
ohh and the cigar joke was for you claudio..........i like cuban and dominican dont smoke anything else really....lol so now you know what i really wnat..LOL
