Anyone want to trade E11V2 for E8+400 dollars

Just what the title says, most of you don't need /could never use the extra inputs/outputs of the E11 over the E8 when using with a 13B.

The E11/E8 harness are plug an play and identical, as far as the features that are on both. (if you use an E11 harness with an E8 you do end up with some extra wires, which I would be willing to take off your hands for some extra money if they are relatively uncut).

What is the real difference: The E11 has 2 more Ignition outs and 2 more injections outs than the E8 (all of which can be used as PWM outs if not being used for there above stated purpose), the E11 also has 8 instead of 3 spare A/D inputs, and 2 instead of 5 digital inputs.

And that it.....

I am doing some custom stuff (running stock sequential twins, plus some of the smog controls) and am out of outputs/inputs as compared to what I want to do. It would be cheap to substitute in RPM switches/solenoids, but a much better solution would be to get an E11.

My E8 is in perfect working order and I can prove it on video or whatever you need, its running 1.71, and it works like a dream.

If interested send a PM, best case scenario would be to meet up in person.

I am in san diego, but travel to LA frequently.

I also have other parts, such as good 13b-rew irons (full set), 13b rew eshafts (3), and some other parts that I could offer in trade (complete running GSLSE engine).

If interested send a PM, best case scenario would be to meet up in person but with reasonable assurance we could do this via mail/UPS/pay pall etc. I am in san diego, but travel to LA frequently.

Hey Slo... I see you prolly used the info on this thread https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ch+stock+twins to run your stock twins? Can i ask how does it all run with the E8, since you have a lot better control than with the K we did that on?

Also, what other options are you running that you will need the extra outputs?

I did use that info, but I ended up modifying things a bit. Basicly what I came up with is that you need 3 simple switched outs (ala RPM switches and Map switches) Plus 2 duty cycle outs to run the twins just like stock.

MBC's could substitute for both or one of the 2 duty cycle outs.

The way I did it on the E8 was to run the Wastgate off open loop, run the Turbo pre controll off the wastgate map, and use the other 3 outputs to control the Charge relief valve, charge control valve and main turbo flapper door.

I need 2 more outs, one for AI and one for BAC, + I want to run direct ignition and also control the airpump and 2 of the other oem smog functions + A/C.

I also want trims for ign and fuel a 2 step, and 2 inputs for EGT, 1 for road speed, 1 for ac etc etc..

Well you get the picture, I'm out of inputs and outputs.

After speaking with someone on the phone at haltech, in anticipation of the release of the new universal platinum series ECU slated for middle of this year, I'm going to hold off and buy one of those and sell my E8 at that point.

Its like an E11 beefed up, more inputs/outputs, with all new components and code.

Better easier software thats supposed to be far more intuitive, with more features that none of the previous units had integrated by default like knock detection.

From what Ive been told this is supposed to be better than motec and autotronic's best units.

Although not explicitly stated, I think the key point in this system is that it can control the electronically controller throttle?

This has been a PITA for aftermarket EMS, and I only know of MoTeC that can do this currently.
