anyone got a map for 1600cc primaries?
i'm having a hell of a time trying to get this thing to hold a decent idle..
half bridge rew
haltech e6x
aeromotive fuel regulator
1600cc primary and secondaries
jaytech intake (4" throttle plate)
i've tried everything between 20 and 50 lbs static pressure, but it still doesn't like me. it's either pig rich, or way too lean...no in between area.
so if anyone has a map they can shoot me so i can get some ideas, i'd greatly appreciate it.
thanks

I would just put in smaller injectors, what kind of power goals are you looking for that you couldnt put in smaller primaries? Cause the 550/1600 is enough fuel for a lot of power. And if you want more, just go with the 850/1600 combo.
Or, switch to methanol.... :P

i only do what i'm told....i'd just use 850's or 1000's if it were mine..
but i found out that all 4 injectors were leaking (i was told they were brand new), so that pj is on hold until they either get cleaned or replaced.
btw, i suggested meth to the guy

I have a map on 1600cc primary's but its just a base map no boost. You could use it to start the car though.

I ran 4x1600's for awhile with an e6k, got it to idle quite nicely...
First thing is address fuel pulsation, its so bad with 4x1600's I couldnt read the fuel pressure guage at times..I had a chunk of rubber hose with a plug in the end plumbed into the fpr to absorb it plus the mallor fpr which has the PD built in as well.
Forget about using the zero throttle map, I find the haltech has more control over the idle on the main fuel map than the zero throttle.
Use a bac valve..
What tamed the injectors in the end was using closed loop at idle with a target a/f of 501mv, and finding the idle speed to match the haltechs minimum time of control of injectors, which I found to be 1600 rpm, any lower and the injector open time just got to small to control, but 1600 with a large 1/2 bridge isnt to bad.. With 720's I can take it down near a 1100 or so..Max

this is a jaytech intake with a 4" throttle body... i dunno how i could plumb a bac into it.
and i suggested an fpd about ten zillion times, but to no avail.
i'll try some of that stuff. thanks man.
