Had my FD for 17yrs, it’s now been sold 2yrs ago so no longer need — though curious if this light kit ever made it out to anyone.

Any chance you have the ipf lights? I broke one of mine while putting my car back together or which projector are you using to replace the ipf light?

I just skimmed through this entire thread while not knowing the outcome. I thought this eventually got completed and there was a kit out there for sale that I wasn't aware of, but much to my disappoint, it just died.

That's not exactly true... Garage Alpha had picked up this project, but then fell off the radar. We (SakeBomb Garage) have recently taken over distribution and engineering for Garage Alpha, and are actively working on this project But, not sure how much interest still exists since this thread is ancient now.

Could we get a new raise of hands for those still interested???

Ahhh, a glimmer of hope! Hopefully you guys can reverse the curse on this project.

I’m almost certain there would be significant amount of interest. Every FD needs headlights better than OEM and options are always nice.

I'm interested!
Any rough guesses on cost?
At today's prices, looking at rallylights.com, seems like the projectors alone would be about about $1k.
I can't imagine what it would take to do the brackets, shroud, pay for wages, profit etc...

I would also be interested in a set of the sleepy eye kit and hopefully it would be available with carbon fiber surround shroud

If this project is really getting restarted, probably a new posting should be made by SBG with the info. This one is so old and so long that a lot of people probably ignore it now.

If you guys can put together a quality kit and keep it around 1100 / 1200 then you have a market.

Otherwise people will continue to buy the EVO-R version.

Sales tactic for people to buy.
Their available if you know where to look or bug them enough - Thailand is also big on making / copying FD stuff.
I love the knight sports 4 bulb look, I love pop - up.

I'm all for this - but the bottom line as everyone knows is, how much can you sell to re-coup your cost + future worst case scenario sales.

Also Sakebomb makes the kit, its bought and copied and made for less in another country to just sell back to us... lol.

So many ways this could spin for us to get some sleepy eye lights.
