could you explain a bit more what you mean by imperfections.

it was/is a lot better in a number of ways.
1. more fun to watch expand.
2. cures in <3hrs and is hard a 5 min.
3. its quite a bit harder than great stuff. when carving the great stuff it had a tendency to tear larger chunks, so it was hard to shape tight areas.
4. finally after im done shaping i can apply resin directly to it, so no body filler (which was a huge pita).
