Can someone please explain why it costs 3x as much for this same part for an FD?

Unless they are the exact same dims (literally same part) it's because of the different production run sizes.

Fellas sorry for the long wait, I did quite a few iterations, mostly small incremental changes until now. I can say that the D shape washer is ready for production. I'm very satisficed with the final result, very tight fit, minimized any free play...just feels perfect!

I can also say the same for the H shape washer is also ready, however ***DISCLAIMER*** In order to test the H washer I actually had to order a few brand new OEM Mazda H bolts to make sure fitment is as it should be. While the H washers fits perfectly on the few H bolts that I have, I wish I had more of them at hand, as I learned (from the D shaped bolts) that there are slight tolerance fluctuations from bolt to bolt.

Now I will go ahead and start an official GB. I have already sent an e-mail to IB and expecting a reply from them soon.

Thank you for your patience and support!

The official GB thread is up.

FD eccentric lock washers for the LCA camber bolts: Official GB

No need to add names or make lists. I made 18 sets (9 of D and 9 of H) and they are ready ti ship. I will making a new batch immediately (2-3 week lead time max). So don't worry if you don't get one off the first 18 sets, there will be more sets coming very soon.

Does anyone have any experience with the actual alignment process with these? Any tips or tricks? I’m assuming you have to load and unload the car every time you make an adjustment, right?

Not sure what you mean by load and unload the car ...
When I did my set, I brought my FD to my local alignment shop and they utilized the OEM camber washer on the nut side. When the settings were dialed in for each corner, I gave the tech the lock washers to replace the nut side OEM camber washer.

We are working with Split Street to provide these on the market. They are now available here:

One minor change to the original design - they are now ceramic tumbled to take some of the sharp edges off.
