You can use self tapping screws, but generally, the screws that came out of the OEM ones should fit right back into the same holes that are already there when you take the OEM ones off.
Some people dont want to use screws & opt for double sided tape. But Personally I prefere using velcro.
You can buy it in a strip roll about 2 foot long @ Advanced/Discount Auto or Auto Zone. Put a piece on the chasis & the other one on the back of the new Scuff plate & your good to go, this way they are easy to remove & wont distroy the double sided tape when you go to take them off.
Thanx for the inquiry

OEM ones don't use screws, they just snap into place. Shouldn't be too hard to get it right, though. Thanks!

I checked UPS, Fedex & United States Postal Servive ..
Looks like the posal service has the best rates. Your looking @ around $50-55 US with Priority mail & 6-10 days for delivery..
As for the color, thats no problem I can accommodate you on that ..
I had a small problem with my mold when I pulled my last set out of the mold. Some of the Gel coat stuck to the Epoxy, so I had to fix the mold which took a couple days. But I should be ready to go again hopefully by the weekend. Seems like everytime Im ready to start rolling with this something happens. Its not a big deal its just set backs & Im sure some of you guys are ready to order. So Im making a couple more sets & gonna use Vacum PVA bags this time should help things along a bit better & guarantee no issuse with air bubbles..
Ill keep everyone posted.
Thanx for your patients everyone..

hey Rotech, i currently have a set and i'm wondering about fitment. the set i have doesn't fit as well as the original stockers and i bought them off of another member here. i can't see the pics on your posts, is there any way you can email them to me? if the fitment on these are identical to stockers (s/s version) then i would pick a set up from you. the issue with the set that i have is they don't cover the complete area that the stockers do and they are a pain to install with the pre-drilled holes. i would be intereseted in a set of twill weave carbon with silver lettering. let me know if this is an available option.
thanks,
mark

The problem with some people that try to make these is they dont spend enough time on the molds & the end result is a part that doesnt fit properly. The part will only be as good as the mold it is pulled from.
I have your email address & pictures or on their way.

I'd like a set - just like the first ones pictured - Red w/black lettering. Do you have any pictures you can post here of them installed? If anyone else has one and chose to go the screw route - I'd like to see that,(installed w/ and w/o screws).
Thanks,
Bob

Rotech7 stoked to see the finished product, I know everyone will be very pleased.
My girlfriend just surprised me by fixing my SS RX7 sills. She had them powder-coated to match my tow hooks to thank me for some work I did to her car. Very cool! may still get a set of CF ones from you to match my exterior CF pieces as well as my A-pillars etc. But don't need to be at the top of the list. Going to use these for awhile so I don't hurt her feeling

No prob buddy ..
Ive been in a bind for a while cause the last set I pulled from the mold, pulled some Gel Coat off with it, so it kind of messed up one of my molds.
I fixed it & well be ready to go again, but noticed I was having some issude with a few air bubbles once in a while which is a pain in the ***. So decided the easiest way to fix the problem was to use PVA vacum bags to suck all the air out & you end up with a perfect part. It ends up costing me a little more more in materials, but the end result makes it worth ir & if I have a part with air bubbles its worthless anyways, so in the long run its better to use the vacum.
So Im a little upset that I havent been able to make any parts in the last week or so, but my vacum bags should come in tomorrow, so Im hoping to pop a couple sets out this week @ least ..
Ill order the Green Kevlar in a few weeks for you then I try to have your ready in a couple months if thats cool, that way your not spending any money right now..
Thanx for touchin base with me.
Peace
