FC rear camber link rod

It will not work with solid subframe mounts. You need the stock rubber mounts for this to work.

then i'll throw one on my TII when i bring it into the shop next and give a before and after comparison. the original version is rather quick and easy to make and available now, the on car adjustment type i am still waiting for time and materials on as my current supplier was out of tube stock when i went in this morning to see about getting materials for making the on car adjustment type. i could order it online but i prefer to see what i am working with to take the guesswork out of it.

Okay so if you can't use solid subframe mounts, would it be okay with Energy Suspension master kit set up??? And would it be the same if I got the installed/uninstalled replacement? Because my whole rear end suspension needs overhauled (found this after installing the lsd)

the energy suspension kit doesn't come with every bushing though, for the rear it only comes with the rear sway bar main bushings and the rear lower control arm front bushings. it doesn't really go into the rear subframe mount bushings. it shouldn't be a problem with either delrin/polyurethane or stock bushings. solid mounts just have no flex so something will get tweaked by changing the angles.

No flaming here, but is the proposed on car adjustable link any different than the items that mazdatrix sells here: http://www.mazdatrix.com/h6_86-92.htm (about 80% down the page)
If what is being proposed is different, can you tell me how?

BTW, I think I can send you at least 2 cores when I send mine back (that way you can get more business hopefully).

These ones are from what I understand, oem links but modified to adjust.
Best of both worlds

why yes they are actually stock pieces, strange that i never noticed them before i posted this but i may also not have been paying attention lately...
even so, they're $128 versus less than half that.
feel free to buy theirs if you really want to. not exactly sure what they use to lock the threads, according to that picture. edit: nm, they require to be removed to adjust as basically the version 1 of mine is for nearly triple the price as they probably use new OEM rods that they modified.
on a side note i have all the materials now to make the on car adjustables and will be making a prototype probably next week as soon as i finish this FD rebuild. version 2.0 will not require removal to be adjusted and estimated cost is $58 before core charge and shipping.

so do you think these units would withstand the forces of drifting (not meaning hitting curbs, walls, etc. just sliding)? would you be confident that they would last and take that abuse?

disregard the location of the adjuster, i was in a rush to get it done since i need it back on the car so i can head home from work and i placed it at the wrong end of the rod. still relatively easily accessible but not where i intended to put it.
just for an additional bit, this is the original rod from my TII which has 207k miles and was perfectly fine. the picture was poor though, i think i changed the settings on the camera while i was messing around with it.
