I wish there was a way to express how much appreciation I have for GoodfellaFD3S.
I currently have a 93 Touring BB with Tan interior FD so I'm not new to this world of rotaries. I was in the market for a second FD as a big 3-0 birthday present to myself.
I just received my 93 CYM earlier this week. I found a CYM on a website for a dealership that I never heard of and they were located in Long Island who allegedly specialize in old Porsches. They had this CYM and were asking for a good chunk of cash but within my range. After doing research on the dealership I was concerned since they had mixed reviews. I reached out to Rich since he had a bunch of posts and being a long time lurker I recognized the name and just as a maybe chance he could be of help I did a cold message to him. I couldn't have been more pleased with the response I got. He was very responsive and is extremely knowledgeable and passionate for the rotary community.
After talking with him he offered to do an inspection for me since I'm located in Michigan and I gladly took him up on his offer. He spent his weekend and drove to Long Island and drove the car and did a full inspection of it. Charged a very fair price and accepted paypal and was very supportive through it all. Throughout the whole process he was readily available and responsive and provided solid advice. After all said and done I bought the car for 5k less than what they were originally asking for and the car arrived on Wednesday and on Friday I was able to get my first drive. The car is as glorious as I imagined.
I cannot thank Rich enough for all his support through this and I will definitely be reaching out to him for any questions and parts I may need. The biggest of gratitude and recommendation for GoodfellaFD3s
